PARTNERS IN KENYA

One of the ministries that Tree of Lives partners with in Kenya is the Slum Child Foundation. This program is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the most vulnerable and marginalized members of the Kenyan society - those living in the country’s poorest urban settlements. The Foundation develops addiction prevention initiatives and implements actions to promote children’s rights, prevent gender-based violence and promote women’s and girls’ empowerment.

One activity that the Foundation offers are Toto kids' clubs. During COVID, these clubs did not meet, but we are thrilled that they are meeting now and thriving. The number of Toto club kids has increased from 120 to 300 children. This is a result of a weekly feeding program the Foundation has introduced. Each weekend, they offer hot meals to all the kids that attend. It has been amazing to offer support to these vulnerable children.
